Dad's Chinese Name

Dad was given a Chinese name last time he went to China and yesterday he was given another Chinese name:

司登泠  (in English it sounds like Si Den Lin)
> 司  means commander
> 登  means climb mountain and peaks
> 泠  means pure water and breeze

Because he is staying in Taipei for a month, he was also given an office in the hospital yesterday.  Apparently it is much nicer then any office he has ever had in the U.S!  His translator is a senior medical student who grew up in Californina but went to medical school in Taiwan and wants to be a neurosurgeon. He speaks perfect English and is fluent in Chinese.  He has yet to find his way to the grocery store and has been living on green tea!
